It's a simple Windows web browser which is very simple to install and requires low system resources to function properly. After installing and running Lunascape, the user will quickly notice the interface, which resembles the one of other web browsers, but has more features and even supports skins. There are a couple of skins available, but more can be downloaded from the program's website. When running Lunascape for the first time, it will ask the user what rendering engine to use. There are three engines available, from which one is the engine used by Internet Explorer.

After completing this step, one can start browsing to websites like he usually does. He will soon notice that the browsing speed is much faster than the one offered by other similar applications. The tabbed interface allows quick and easy navigation through multiple opened websites.

One can add each website in the favorites or bookmarks folder and can even import bookmarks from Internet Explorer. The settings section of the program is highly complex and features numerous options to choose from.
